# Admin Panel

# Admin Panel

The Admin Panel provides a visual interface for managing tags. Open it with `/ksnameplate admin panel`.

## Layout

The panel uses a 2-panel layout:

- **Left Panel** — Tag list with pagination, edit and delete buttons
- **Right Panel** — Tag editor form

## Dashboard

At the top of the panel, a dashboard shows:
- Total number of tags
- Total number of groups
- **+ New Tag** button to create a new tag

## Tag List

All defined tags are listed with:
- Display text and tag ID
- Group assignment
- Tag type (PREFIX, SUFFIX, ABOVE)
- **Edit** button — loads the tag into the editor
- **Del** button — deletes the tag permanently

Use the Prev/Next buttons to navigate through pages when there are more than 8 tags.

## Tag Editor

When a tag is selected or "New Tag" is clicked, the editor panel shows:

| Field | Description |
|-------|-------------|
| **Tag ID** | Unique identifier (e.g., `vip`, `builder`) |
| **Display Text** | What players see (e.g., `[VIP]`, `★`) |
| **Chat Color** | Hex color code for chat prefix (e.g., `#FFD700`) |
| **Permission** | Required permission node (leave empty for no restriction) |
| **Group** | Group ID this tag belongs to (e.g., `ranks`, `badges`) |

Click **Save Tag** to create or update the tag. Changes take effect immediately for all players.

## Showcase Mode

In showcase mode, all write operations (create, edit, delete) are blocked for non-admin users. The panel can still be viewed in read-only mode.
